This policy explains what Adult Puzzles collects when you use adult-puzzles.com, why, and what control you have. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.
Scope — this website only
Adult Puzzles is a website. We do not publish a mobile application on Google Play, the App Store, or any other app store, and we do not distribute software you install. Nothing in this policy relates to an app, because there is no app — if you encounter an application claiming to be Adult Puzzles, it is not ours and we would like to hear about it.
What we collect
If you create an account (optional)
A username, an email address, and a password which is stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never hold your password in readable form and cannot recover it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google; we do not receive your Google password.
When you play
Play counts, favourites, likes and dislikes, comments you post, and experience points used for the monthly leaderboard. If you are not signed in, your recently-played list and favourites live in your own browser's local storage and are not sent to us.
Automatically
Like any web server, ours records the IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and timestamps of requests. We also record the country a play came from, in aggregate, to build the "top games in your country" list. This is counted at country level and is not used to identify individuals.
If you write to us
The contact form and email send us whatever you put in them, including your email address so we can reply.
Cookies and similar storage
- Essential — a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a record of your cookie-banner choice.
- Preferences — local storage holding your recently played games and, for signed-out visitors, your favourites.
- Advertising — set by Google and its ad partners, described below.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working; blocking the rest only affects convenience and ad relevance.
Advertising
The site is free and funded by advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, which may include ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
You can control this directly:
- Turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings
- Manage many networks at once at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu
- Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run a separate analytics suite on this site.
Games are loaded from other companies
Every game here runs inside a frame served by the provider that supplies it — including GameDistribution, GameMonetize, YAD, YIV and BestGames. When a game loads, that provider can set its own cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, exactly as if you had visited their site. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We pass no account information of yours to them.
We send email only when there is a reason to: verifying an address, resetting a password, or replying to you. Delivery is handled by a transactional email provider acting on our behalf. We do not run marketing newsletters.
Children
Adult Puzzles is a general-audience games site and is not directed to children under 13, who should not create an account. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping and protecting your data
Account data is kept while the account exists. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. The site is served over HTTPS and passwords are hashed, though no method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it and your account outright. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, request portability, or complain to your local data protection authority. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will action it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
